Fantastic Customer Service And A Remarkable Product - Family Book Review

By Taylor King

I'm proud of her for rejecting the endorsement of NAMBLA, even after Dick Cheney insisted that they were the spokesmen for "the REAL American family" and her proud insistence that Reagan's divorce "never mattered to Jesus" is brave. The "lame stream media" is likely to make fun of Sarah for this book, pointing out that she has the brains of an agitated parrot.

"When fascism comes to America, it will come wrapped in the flag and waving a cross", commonly attributed to Sinclair Lewis and entirely appropriate for Ms Palin. I was hoping to achieve some level of understanding of why this woman appeals to American voters. "Papers are easy," she said, "I just get all my quotes together, and then fill in the spaces with transitions and BS." Basically, Sarah Palin seems to be the Stephanie Meyer of politics - very popular, but ultimately not a contender for the highest quality (with apologies to Meyer, who has only published one book I haven't read, and can improve). I gave 5 stars and she deserves 10 stars. Open your eyes people, especially you Palin. You are a demagogue who is taking advantage of a citizenry that is in real pain from the economic policies of the past 30 years.

It is a much more bright and hopeful version of America than the current bleak future postulated by President Obama's economic policies. I highly encourage you to read this book as well as Governor Palin's original book, Going Rogue: An American Life.

Again, if you say so it must be true and it certainly makes people feel better. Do you mean like when Reagan drastically increased tariffs and duties and protected the American auto and steel industries from being defeated in a free market?

Does being Sarah Palin's daughter make her a star? I personally don't care that she was unwed and pregnant, but, does that make her a star?

And although our circumstances may have been different, the sentiment certainly hits home. Take your best shot. You are not considered patriotic if you find it necessary to lie about our President in order to try to attract attention for one's self or boost your own overinflated ego. Palin complains on page 263 about Obama's enemy-centric policy is coddling our enemies. American exceptionalism is being compromised by a President who wants to assuage dictators and share power. Palin would restore greatness to the United States of America by withdrawing federal authority and restoring more autonomy at the state level. Although I do agree with her ideology behind the writings, I think this is a poorly written book that will convince nobody. Even more memorable for anyone who was a kid in the '50's was the fear we lived with of being incinerated by an atomic bomb in a nuclear war with Russia. Some people were so frightened that they were excavating their back yards to put in bomb shelters in a vain hope of surviving such an attack.

Through the many, many quotes by other courageous, honest, and loyal Americans, she points out where our country came from, what it has accomplished, and where it is today. For those who fear the Socialist agenda of the Leftist elite currently in power, Sarah gives hope for the future. You'll notice there's very little comment on the actual content and mostly ad hominem nonsense. Intellectually sad, and is another example of why political power is quickly being lost on the left.
