I bought the Herbal Infusion Green Tea Flavored variety on Sunday afternoon and I drank two cups in the evening before going to bed. On Monday and Tuesday, I didn't feel any different nor did my bathroom habits seem to be more unusual than normal. I continued drinking it throughout the day, drinking five cups of tea by late evening. That night, I spent a little more time in the bathroom than normal as not only was I urinating a little more, but my bowel movements were more frequent than normal too.
On Wednesday and Thursday I drank at least 4 cups both days. By Wednesday evening though, I noticed I was getting a slight stomach ache so I cut back on Thursday to 2 cups. On Thursday, my stomach was hurting a little but I was definitely feeling lighter and less weighed down. My skin was also starting to look clearer and slightly glowing. I also noticed I had a lot more energy than was normal, especially around 4pm when I would usually feel tired.
I've continued to drink the tea for the last two days, so I have now been drinking it for almost a week. I still feel lighter and, although I haven't weighed myself, I can tell by the way my clothing is fitting I have probably lost four or five pounds. Yet I've been eating the same amount of food I usually eat. I plan on continuing drinking three to four cups of tea for the next few days and then will slowly cut down till I'm only drinking one cup a day. After two weeks, I will stop using it every day and drink only a couple of times a week, as I have heard from several Thai friends it's not healthy to drink for long periods of time.
As far as taste goes, it tastes like green tea but a bitterer version of the green tea I drink. The back of the bag says that each 2.65 gramme tea bag contains 1500mg of Senna leaves, 500 mg of Senna pods, green tea leaves, and 150 mg of Garcinia Atroviridis. Garcinia Atroviridis is a hydroxy citric acid, which is a natural substance that is extracted from the rind of the fruit of the Garcinia Cambogia tree. It is apparently non-toxic and has been used for generations for appetite suppressing and weight loss. However, diabetics should never drink anything with this substance in it as it has a very bad glycemic reaction on the body. So Fitne tea is definitely out for somebody who has diabetes.
Overall, I think I was quite successful in my goal of losing some weight with Fitne. A five pound weight loss is good for only a week and, as the taste is not too bad, it didn't really seem such a chore to be drinking it. I just substituted a few cups of this tea every day instead of the coffee I drank before.
As far as I know, it is a product that is mainly available in Thailand. Many Thai sellers sell it on eBay and ecrater though, so if you're interested in trying some it shouldn't be too difficult to get. Just remember to start out slowly and see how you feel before you decide to drink more than one cup a day, and also stop drinking it if you suddenly feel dizzy or light-headed as this could mean it's causing your body to have a nasty glycemic reaction.

Review: Fitne Tea - the Thai Way to Lose Weight Fast
I recently bought some Fitne Green Tea in Bangkok. It's very popular in Thailand as a diet or weight loss drink, and is primarily used by Thai Muay Thai kickboxers who are trying to drop some weight and Thai women who are trying to do the same. The tea supposedly contains a natural herbal ingredient that makes you lose weight. It's also advertised that regular consumption promotes a slimmer healthier figure and a better functioning digestive system. In reality though, it's nothing more than an herbal laxative. So how does it taste and is it healthy?
