In the trademark 'Qsine' restaurant, diners place their orders via an iPad. Guests can treat themselves to a 24-karat gold facial in the Aquaspa.

The Expedition is in a class by herself. She is the only liner with privileges in the Galapagos Islands. You and your 91 fellow passengers sail in the wake of the Beagle, from which Charles Darwin began his voyage to the theory of evolution. Learn about the creature that you will be making friends with in the Discovery Lounge. Top up your suntan during the day, and attend a wildlife lecture in the evening.

Celebrity Cruises mingle old-fashioned grace and luxury with 21st Century technology. In addition to their company website, there are two mobile apps for the smart phone and the tablet. 'Spree' offers information about shopping on board your liner as well as details of your cruise. The more general app, called simply 'X', will give your hours of presail entertainment just browsing through the gen on destinations and details about the different liners.
